Anonymous asked: Asalamu alykum so I'm a 17 year old living in London & for a while now I've been thinking about wearing the niqab it just feels like the right thing to do but I don't know how to tell my mum, my mum is really against the niqab she says it not needed and no daughter of hers will wear it while living in the UK. any advice ? I love the niqab it's such a beautiful thing & I really want to wear it if not right now then in a year or two but I just don't know how to tell my mum.
Wa alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu…
Actually, what can I say to you since my case is the same with yours… :) lol… I’m just praying and waiting patiently for the most beautiful and ideal day to wear it full time, because I don’t wanna sadden my mother, she is a mashaAllah good muslim, only she can’t get into idea of Niqab, since she lived easily with Hijab in a society of jahiliya… But she can’t understand the love of Niqab, and I dont wanna bad scenes in my house so I’m waiting, and while waiting, I’m trying to cover myself in its best and in the best I can do and I’m trying to keep myself chaste. May Allah help all of us.
Anonymous asked: Salam, I am an Australian/Somali Muslimah and 17 i really want to wear the niqab, both my parents allow it even my mum used to wear it, I go to university and I fear how people will treat me also I travel to and from uni by train since I can't drive it and I feel that will make it difficult. Should I just wear the niqab and not care what people say and put may trust in Allah or should I wait until I finish uni Jazakallah kair :)
Walaykum salam dear sister,
GO FOR IT!!! if parents are allowing it surely GO FOR IT! Because other people’s look don’t count in the sight of Allah. And shaitan usually whispers like:
“they are talking about you”
“look, they are looking at you”
“you look horrible”
It only whispers. No power, nothing. Even You will see that most of people are being friendly with you as long as you don’t fear. :) And always ignore HATERS. They are just LOSERS. :) And know that, you are beautiful, you are the most one who looks like Aisha Radiyallahu Anha. So pray Allah to give you strength and say like that whenever you wear it. I am usually saying:
“O Allah, whatever you wish to give a woman slave’s heart and life with this covering, I’m asking it from you”
And you will see your heart filling with love , peace and self confidence :)
May Allah make it easy for you, for me, and for all sisters :)
